░ 陽明交大跨領域藝術團隊 tansArt NYCU Team ░

國立交通大學的跨領域藝術團隊(tansArt NCTU Team)成立於2007年，2021年2月1日因交大與陽明大學合校，改名為陽明交大跨領域藝術團隊(tansArt NYCU Team)。最初由來自應用藝術、音樂和建築三所熱衷於跨域創作的教授和研究生所組成。 近年來，來自資訊工程和電機背景的教師和學生也先後加入了該團隊。 基於理論基礎，該團隊整合了藝術實踐與其他領域的專業，自2008年與德國科隆的藝術家們首次合作，進行一系列跨域藝術表演以來，該團隊在國內和國際藝術舞台上展出多件多媒體藝術作品和多次的雙向交流，內容涵蓋了技術、人文和藝術，團隊的創新能量和研發實力得到了確切的體現。團隊未來十年的核心目標是將藝術、音樂、舞蹈等進一步結合人工智慧、機器人、IoT物聯網、AR/VR等創新科技(Emerging Technology)，希冀能超越目前科技藝術(Technology Art)的範疇，開拓跨域藝術更大的格局與前所未有的新經驗！ 陽明交大跨領域藝術團隊全心致力於創造跨領域藝術的對話機會，希望能呈現台灣另一種正在發展中的藝術風格，亦盡量能涵蓋傳統藝術之轉化應用，為現代數位科技藝術指出另一種可能性，讓未來的台灣跨領域藝術作品能尋求更廣闊的國際藝術表演舞台。

░ Introduction of tansArt NYCU Team░

The transArt NCTU Team is comprised of professors and graduate students from Applied Arts, Music, Architecture, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Biological Science and Technology of the National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Taiwan. The transArt NCTU Team was renamed transArt NYCU Team after merging with the National Yang Ming University in February 2021.The team members are genuinely enthusiastic about trans-disciplinary art. The team has made a perfect blend of artistic practice and other disciplines. It has staged many multi-media pieces of works and multiple bilateral exchange that span arts, humanities, sciences, and technologies in the international arena since 2008 when it collaborated with German artists for the first time in staging a series of art performances in Cologne, Germany, in which the team’s innovative energy, research and development capability find clear expression.

░ International performing experiences ░

In 2012, the transArt NCTU team was invited by the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, Austria for an exchange program. The content of the project is mainly multimedia performances, workshops and lectures. The team visited Vienna University and performed publicly in the Mendelssohn Hall of Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts “Fanny–Mendelssohn–Saal”. The performing piece is titled “The Reverberant Labyrinth”. It is a multimedia stage piece that integrates the arts of digital images, music, interactive sound installation, dance and more. The work reflects on the interwoven relationship between the internal and external aspects of people through a complicated and interlocking labyrinth in which people encounter nostalgia, conflicts, hopes and dreams.

In return, the faculty and graduate students of the multimedia art team of the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts visited NCTU to open workshops in 2013, and perform publicly in the NCTU Auditorium, to exchange and observe the experimental and aesthetic experience of transdisciplinary art praxis. The bilateral exchanges have provided a great opportunity for teachers, students and artists in Taiwan and Austria to learn from each other. Also, the cooperation between the universities promotes the mutual understanding of different cultures, and helps establish a dialogue between artistic and scientific minds. In other words, it opens up a new realm of possibilities for contemporary art.

In 2019, collaborating with Post Theater from Berlin, the transArt NCTU team premiered their two most recent collaborative theatrical pieces — “For-giving. For-getting” and “Nonuments” in November 15th 2019 at the former Imperial Japanese Navy’s Sixth Fuel Factory in Hsinchu Taiwan, thereby immersing the spectators in a fantastic space of living metaphors and urging them to consider the thorny issues arising from the paradoxes between remembering and forgetting. The collaborative art projects and exchange activities between the transArt NCTU team and international art societies have encouraged numerous dialogues that open up a new realm of possibilities and experiences. The role that the transArt NCTU team plays is to help people understand and recognize the trends of contemporary art in Taiwan and abroad in addition to acting as a pioneering spirit in trans-disciplinary art.

░ 跨領域藝術團隊成立的目標 ░

．透過科技和人文藝術等領域的學習和合作，實踐跨領域藝術展演的理想和抱負，探討人與世界的關連與在世存有的意義，為團隊的每一位成員創造最大的成長空間。
．對於跨領域藝術的創作，是希望能突破單一藝術形式的表達、思維或創作的模式，尋求各藝術和不同學門或領域之間對話的可能。
．交大團隊所努力的是把科技「內化」，將其藝術詮釋性彰顯出來，企圖以更開闊的藝術視野和自由活潑的精神，探索未知，持續創造一個能不斷自我更新演化的生命體和藝術活泉。

░ 團隊的理想和任務 ░

作為一跨領域藝術團隊，試圖開展的是多組涵攝雙向性的對話關係，在影像聲音、異質雜訊與身體圖式所交融遇合的感官知覺場域中，開啟多重身體感知經驗與對未知的好奇與存有的叩問。團隊的跨域藝術創作和交流活動，是以藝術創新的實驗性和全人教育之考量為優先，以共同成長和朝向藝術未定域的探索為目標，透過不同領域的學習和思想交鋒，實踐對跨領域藝術的想像和抱負。藝術實踐是長遠之路，團隊的目標是要建立一個可長可久的創作與教育基地，以期能讓合作和對話、團隊和個人，都有通暢無礙的合作交流和彼此支援的管道。在這樣的根基下，團隊也把握每一次可以到國際舞台進行展演的機會，進行國際交流合作與觀摩。但是，這些活動都必須蘊含探索未知、往上生長、向下扎根的能量，如此，跨領域的開展與對話才有實質的意義。

跨領域的合作絕非建立在畛域分明的前提下，跨越的也絕不僅是不同領域之間的技術分配協力，而是模糊與鬆動學科之間的固有邊界。長久以來，人類因為專業分科而被狹隘、分類的系統剝奪了全才的能力。所以跨領域團隊希望傳達人的心靈與身體本是活潑、流動的，跨領域藝術的目的是回歸自由，讓身體實踐與創作思考不被框架所侷限。跨領域若欲走得更深更遠，冀求的也許是在域內域外專業的結合外，還有思考板塊的位移、碰撞與鎔鑄再生。當創作者能在語意空缺中找到新的思考維度、融合自身與他者的視域，如此就能在一個閾界狀態融聚自己與他人所背負的領域位置，並在域的空隙中找到交融的契機。

░ 團隊自2007成立至今，共執行了16場大型展覽和展演 ░

國立交通大學跨領域藝術團隊自2008年與德國藝術家們在科隆首次公開發表一系列跨領域藝術展演活動自今，一共發表了16場國內外展覽/表演，與五項國際雙向交流，具體地呈現出團隊的創新能量與研發實力。十年來持續地將前瞻科技應用在跨域藝術實踐，不論是在實務經驗、跨域美學理論建置都有具體成就，也為團隊孕育出為數可觀的頂尖科技研發與人文藝術涵養深厚的傑出校友，這些已畢業的團隊成員，現多為國內知名的互動科技藝術公司與團隊的靈魂人物，在國內外跨域藝術界十分活躍，也發揮了實質的影響力。

交大跨領域藝術團隊常年投注於創新跨域與科技藝術人才的培育，我們的特色在以下四個方面：深厚的人文藝術素養與未來前瞻眼界、科技藝術的實驗創新、跨域美學的理論建構、與國際藝術社會的密切聯結。

團隊未來十年的核心目標是將藝術、音樂、舞蹈等進一步結合人工智慧、機器人、IoT物聯網、AR/VR等創新科技(Emerging Technology)，希冀能超越目前科技藝術(Technology Art)的範疇，開拓跨域藝術更大的格局與前所未有的新經驗！
